McClurkin Properties New Pure Stock Sponsor At Flamboro Speedway
By Randy Spencer for Flamboro Speedway - When Mother Nature finally gets her act together (it is spring after all) the 2018 race season at Bennett Chevrolet Flamboro Speedway plans to be one of the best in recent memory. Some new additions and tweaks will make it an exciting time for racers and fans a like.
We are proud to announce a new (but old) addition to the sponsor list. McClurkin Properties of Cambridge, Ontario are steppng up as the main sponsor for the Pure Stock division. Bob McClurkin and partner Mark Hogan have been long time supporters of racing at Flamboro and have also sponsored the Fireball 5 race team for years. Budget Tire was the sponsor in 2017 but have decided to step away this season and we would like to thank them for their support.
Racers will see some improvement as extra lighting will be in place for every race this season. The dark corners have always been an issue so track owners John and Frank Casale have added some light to hopefully rectify that problem.
Practice day, weather permitting is Saturday, April 21st from 1pm-7pm. The grandstands will not be open for viewing that day, just the pits. Admission is $15.00. The season opens April 28th. Please watch the website,
