The staff and officials of Barrie Speedway would like to thank everyone for their support of the 2nd Annual Garry Reynolds Memorial Invitational.
The Officials have expressly asked us to convey to the Drivers that their driving skills and respect for each other exemplified the sport and spirit of racing. With good old fashioned clean, hard racing every Driver and Team honoured the memory of not only Garry, but of all of the tracks that have lost fellow racers.
Many thanks to the Drivers, Teams and fans that travelled such distances to participate and thank you to Kerry Micks, Scott Steckley and Mark Dilley for taking time out of their busy NCATS schedules to stop and pay homage to the great racers past.
To all of our home track Drivers and all of Garry's family, you need to know that you are why we do what we do, thank you!
Congratulations to Mike Bentley, Dwayne Baker, and Gord Shepherd on their Limited Late Model finishes and Dave Doucette, Herb Walters and Rick Walt for their Thunder Car finishes.
Congratulations to all competitors. We may have lost members of our racing family along the way but the lady and Gentlemen that competed in the 2nd Annual Garry Reynolds Memorial Invitational proved that their spirit lives on.
