SHEDIAC ENTERTAINMENT PARK ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE CHANGES
Riverview, May 5, 2014 – Shediacs CENTRE for Speed Entertainment Park is announcing its Motor Sports and Music events line-up for the 2014 season.
Included for 2014 are several new events and enhancements to previously scheduled activities, as well as the elimination of some conflicts, where possible. New events for 2014 include an "Off Road Festival" for Trucks, 4x4's, ATV's, Jeeps, etc with Sand Drags, Slalom, Tug-o-War and Mud Bog events and a second Festival for Street and Tuner enthusiasts with, each with live music (TBA) and free camping with an event ticket. In the Stock Car world the speedway has six events fort 2014 including a new Modified Sportsman 100 and a 200 Lap Pro Stock Invitational. Finally, for the "extreme" motor sports enthusiasts Shedaic's CFS has scheduled 4 "Car Wars" events which include a host of "rock 'em sock 'em action including full contact races, Lawn Tractor racing (back by popular demand), a "2 Wheel Challenge" and demoltion derbys. Monster Truck shows are TBA when finalized.
Several other changes and enhancements have been made to various events including, for example, a “Fan Driver Day” where a lucky fan and their "pit crew" (a total of 5 people) will go stock car racing for the day, in a CFS provided race car, with all expenses paid, a Fan Appreciation Day where regular fans will get in free, and more.
