Ultimate Pro-Stock Series and Danny Lefebvre Memorial at Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday!

Cornwall, Ont –Wednesday, June 15, 2016 – Martin Bélanger – Cornwall Motor Speedway will host a busy evening this coming Sunday as the first round of the Ultimate Pro-Stock Series will be run along with the 2nd edition of the Danny Lefebvre Memorial plus a complete race program in the other divisions.

Cornwall will host the first race of the Series that started in 2015 replacing the former Mohawk Race Parts Series, Jocelyn Roy, the defending champion, will lead a field of invaders that also includes Stephane Lemire who already have collected 5 wins so far in 2016, we are expecting 6 to 8 drivers from the Eastern Quebec area joining our regular field boosting to nearly 25 cars for the 50-lap event.

Another big event is on the racing card for this Sunday as the 2nd edition of the Danny Lefebvre Memorial will be run in the Mini-Stock division. Again a 25-lap affair is schedule in honour of Danny Lefebvre who lost his life while racing at Cornwall on June 22, 2014. A healthy purse along with lap sponsorship will surely attract several invaders in order to make this race another success!

The Modifieds, Sportsman and Novice Sportsman are also on the schedule as each of these divisions will run a regular night. Will we see the first 2-time winner this year in these classes?

The pit gates will open at 4pm and costs will be 25$ in the pit area. General admission will open its doors at 5pm and costs will be $15 for adults, 8$ for seniors and only 2$ for 16 years old and younger. The first heat will be run at 7pm sharp.
