Ok i see a lot of good points and yes there are probably a lot of cars around to up the car count. Correct me if im wrong but i thought you said you were hoping to pay $2000 for each 50 of a twin 50. Now i know  all tracks kicked out Alstar for that payout for one race are they really willing to pay that for 2 races on one night where the crowd is still the same? If so there were a lot of other factors in Alstars demise and not $ which the promoters claimed.

I don't know the fallout of Allstar and how that came about, and I don't think even the Race Teams know the truth, but Canada is very spread out when it comes to racing and things like this will happen.
We do not have the enormous crowds they do down South, and for that reason we have lessor tracks, and worse, lessor tracks making money. It costs Track Owners a ton to stick there necks out on any show regardless if its OSScar, NASCAR or the OSS, and without the tracks being profitable its very scary to think what the future holds for anyone, unless Tracks start looking at almost being involved in some type of partnership with a series.

Our goal's in the OSS are to provide a good show for the fans, increase car counts by keeping the costs down to compete against each other, and formost, Help the Race Tracks that help us !!

A great sponsor can only reap the awards of being involved with a Team if they can be seen from Crowded Grand Stands, and regardless of the Series, This is what matters most !!!
