Pinecrest, for a self proffessed historian you are WAYto biased and it shows Walters won the Mckerlie Millan Cup 3 out of 5  and Alstar races at Cayuga, won at Delaware, Mosport, Kawartha ,Ptbo ,Barrie, Sauble, Flamboro, Ottawa, Sunset,so what are we missing, 3 Alstar championships 100 plus invitationals, 17 track championships 4 series championships, Goodyear cup, Budweiser Cup, Molson Cup, Lucas cup. See ya in the hall of fame ,l will look for your buddies pictures when l'm there lol.Tell me about when it only cost 2 bucks to get into a track and gas was .30 cents a gallon, yes those were the days.

Walters has never been able to win so much as a heat race on a track 1/2 mile or bigger . Walters can get the job done in a Bull Ring where he can root guys out of the way or race all night in the mirror but he could never make the transition from just another plow boy in a fast car. As Posted By Pinesol in the upper message.

Point#1- He dominated at Kawartha last year and won the Championship with countless heat wins and Feature wins, and to my knowledge this track is a half mile!!!

Point#2 He has won races at Cayuga and to my knowledge this is a 5/8 mile.

Point#3 He has never ran with a mirror since around 1979 when Beiderman told him he would go faster without one.

And that's the facts.

Your knowledge would seem to be sorrily lacking since if you will check Kawarthas site you will see it is a 3/8 ::) your other two points are as accurate as your first.

Pinesol,I mean Pinecrest, that's  a good name , you really are a dinasour not sor living in the past just a  bitter cantancerous old man with his head up his ### ,keep looking at  your old photo's they  are  all you have left,   credit were its due Walters has won and done more in the last 20 years than any of your super heroes ever did ,excluding  Hanley who  was the best.

I was never a fan of Biedermans but to suggest Walters has accomplished more then him is laughable at best  Besides all the wins that Ross had here in Canada he was Rookie of the year in NASCAR and has a Winston Cup win . Compare that to Walters two Cascar attempts were he was unable to stay on the lead lap.
Cook not only won 100s of late model races in Canada and the US along with numerous championships he was able to win in Modifieds , USAC midgets , Road Racing, Supers and Cascar.

Since I doubt you ever in saw some of these guys race you might want to understand that these guys did it in an era where invitationals routinely drew 50 to 80 cars and upwards of 20 of the top Americans .

GREAT more misinformation . as I said Walters has never won on anything but a bull ring but feel free to post a link to Walters ever winning a race on a 1/2 mile or bigger .

Pinesol you must just read your life and not experience it. I have driven Kawartha and it aint no 3/8,s. Go there and see you might like racing in the 2000,s. We have new lighting  systems, and the race cars dont have headlights anymore. They even have disc brakes now.........

Now guys take it easy on each other.
hellothere, Kawartha IS a 3/8 mile, a nice wide 3/8 oval.

Kawartha Speedway (Fraserville, Ontario CANADA) will give drivers in their 4 weekly divisions - along with any competitor in a touring series that'll race at the track in 2007 - a chance to fill their notebooks and laptops with useful information.  Canada's premiere 3/8ths mile paved oval will open the track for a test and tune session, starting at 3:00 Friday, May 25th. It will also be a chance for fans who've been suffering from racing hibernation all winter to see what's new at the track for 2007 before the season gets started a week later.  Kawartha Speedway's lid-lifter is Friday, June 1st when the ultra-powerful OSCAAR Outlaw Super Late Models join the action.  The season wraps-up with the crowning of the inaugural NASCAR/Canadian Tire Series champion Sunday, September 23rd.  For a list of everything in between, see the full schedule of events at www.kawarthaspeedway.com.

Hey pinesol, why don't you be a real man and state your name.  Oh I,m sorry rodents don't have names now do they.   ::) Sounds to me like your a legend in your own mind and jealous of Mr. Walters accomplishments otherwise you wouldn't be here bashing him now would you.  Have yourself a lovely day!
