Brian Love would fight hard in the 25-lap feature at Sunset Speedway to come home with a ninth place feature finish.
The Barrie, Ontario native would win his first heat after starting pole. He would back that up with a second place finish in his second heat after starting seventh.
Love would start his No. 04 Fox’s Bakery and Deli, Tire Depot Barrie, Hans-on Lawncare and Simcoe Auto Recyclers Civic mid-pack, escaping a lap nine wreck to run in the ninth position on lap 10. He would fall back to the 10th position by lap 16, though fought hard and was able to get back up to ninth in the final laps. It marks his seventh top 10 of the season in 10 feature starts.
As a result, Love moves up to fifth in points, 54 points out of fourth.
