I have no use for 2 month old race results or topics that have been covered ad nauseam such as the American open wheel merger by every other form of media a long long time ago . While i do enjoy historical pieces such as the one on Vic Parsons i don't like them when they are poorly written and error filled . Did you know Vic was the first stock car driver in Canada to run a quick change ? Did you know Vic was the first stock car driver in Canada to have multiple cars built for specific tracks ? Ever wonder why Vic had that big snake "King Cobra" on all his cars , years before it became a marque for Ford Cars ?  That article could have been very interesting instead of the tripe it ended up being and personally i think a career that spans 5 decades deserved better .

Although I agree with most of this Pine I just have to say that parsons drove over his head many times at Sunset, maybe it was his vision lol but I recall a few times being stuffed into those concrete slabs of a wall because he was trying to make it 3 wide. but he is a very good driver, nice guy too. lent me a tranny when mine blew out one night. I also remember one night Parsons was halfway in Brendan Adams car throwing punches over somthing that happened out on the track.

I don't have a problem with the old race results as I don't get to every track every week, and I don't necessarily visit every tracks' website so seeing the results or a race recap is not a totally awful thing.  It also gives us a chance to see what's going on in other disciplines.

We don't all know everything there is to know about everyone so the article on Vic was a good read for some of us and I hope the team at IT continues with this type of content regardless of whether it meets with everyones approval.

There's the odd section in each issue that I really don't care for, but I can easily just skip over those pages without the need to bitch about them.

If you happen to be browsing the magazine aisle at your local store and you don't like the content, just walk on by, you don't have to buy it.

Totally un-related topic, but why aren't people allowed to comment on anything pertaining to Pierre Bourque in the 'Breaking News' section?
