there were 5 drivers present from the original 1949 races at
Pinecrest - the gentleman with the sideburns is Jack Frazer,
and the others were John McGiffen, Bill Willis, Wally Branston and Dave
Boon, with family reps for Carl Rutledge and Ted Hogan. (thanks
to Ed Butt for this info).

  Love the 1/24th scale replicas.

  Who is the gentleman with the sideburns? I'm positive that I was talking to him at Cayuga on Sunday. He told me that he had never raced at Cayuga and that it was his first time there. He was there as a volunteer with the RACAF.
