Ultimate Pro-Stock Series and Canada-USA Lightning Sprints Challenge this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont – Friday, July 24, 2015 – Martin Bélanger – A busy night is scheduled for this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway with the Ultimate Pro-Stock Series, a Canada-USA Lightning Sprint Challenge and a complete race program in other divisions as the Semi-Pro will have a night off as Speedy Glass will be the main sponsor.

Cornwall will host round 7 and 8 of the Ultimate Pro-Stock Series with two 25 laps event scheduled for the Pro-Stock. Local runner Jocelyn Roy leads the way with a 32-point lead over Ghislain Valade as Stephane Lemire, Stephane Lebrun and Dave Bissonnette completes the top 5. A good field of Pro-Stock is expected as the first rounds at attracted a 24-car grid.

Something special for this Sunday with the lone visit of the Lightning Sprint as they will have a Canada-USA challenge as the Quebec group will face some tough American competition. Jordan Poirier, Guillaume Nedeirer, Alex Therrien, Eric Sundborg, Benjamin Mathieu, Guy Blain and others will be in at the small bullring as we expect a field of over 20 cars.

The Bandit Motorsports Modified, Wheeler-Forget Royal Lepage Sportsman and Polar Sound DJ Services will complete the schedule with regular events for each of them.

Admission costs will be 10$ for adults in general admission, 5$ for seniors and only 2$ for kids 16 years and under. Pit entry costs will be 20$. The gates will open at 3pm to allow hauler parking and general admission gates will open at 5:30pm with the first qualifying race at 7pm. One of the cheapest nights on our busy schedule!
