IROC

I didn't know where else to post this, but something has been bugging me since last Feb.

I'm wondering why Paul Tracy is not racing in this??? Did he turn this down or was he even considered???

Same goes for Brian Vickers, although I heard a lame excuse that it was because of his age???

Okay, I received an email message back from IROC <IROCPR@aol.com>, the gist of it was

Because of the unsettled matters with CART, and no schedule posted for 2004, at the time, they didn't know if Tracy could make all 4 races without conflict???

Vikers, being under the legal drinking age could not promote their sponsors' product.

I also questioned "Why not our 3 time CASCAR Champion, Don Thompson Jr.?". They said "As for CASCAR, we'll keep our eyes open.". [/list]
