Tommy: the track is a D like Merrittville but imagine tighter corners which demands a different driving style. Sitting towards corner one, you seem to be looking at the rear end of the mods 3/4 of the way down the straights as they throw them into the tight corners sprint car style. Glad to see John Wight is fixing up the place. M

I've heard good things about Brewerton, but they run Fridays so I never have a chance to visit there...

Unfortunately I think I am going to be out West the week of this new show.

Track owner John Wight of Gypsum Express fame has booked a 50 lap, $10,000 to win, WOO LM show for Wed Sept 2 (with a rain date the next day). He is adding another grandstand in corner 4 to accomodate the anticipated spectator turn out.
Brewerton is a neat D shapped 1/3 mile with the pits right behind the corner one grandstands. Track is about 1 1/2 hrs south of the Thousand Islands bridge & three hours east of Queenston Lewiston crossing on old Hwy 11, north of Syracuse. Definitely worth a visit.
