Heard a rumour that #24 Barrie TC driver Leonard Jonston is building a car and will be running the Kimel series in the USA next year. First race January 1st at the ROCK in N.C. Anyone who can confirm or deny this? Is he running his old car or building a new one? If its true I think its great to see a "novice" local  short track racer doing something like this.

Yea he tried that last year too!

Stoyan and I will both be driving. There is a mandatory 10 minute pit stop at lap 75 so we will change drivers then.

I have had a few people contact me asking about the series so I thought I would post an update here. We will be taking the car down to Rockingham,N.C. again for the New Years day "Polar Bear 150". We have had the car to the chassis dyno this year and everything appears good, so knock on wood there will be no problems this time. Still have some set up work to do, get the car scaled and a few things to tidy up but everything should be ready for us to leave this Tuesday. There are about 65 cars registered to race so it should be exciting.
